About Us

Rooted in faith, driven by compassion

R & R Community Pantry Co. was founded to honor the lives of those we have loved and lost — and to carry forward their legacy of kindness, service, and hope.

Our Mission

The mission of R & R Community Pantry Co. is to serve individuals and families facing food insecurity by providing nutritious food, compassionate support, and hope rooted in the love of Jesus Christ. We are committed to meeting people where they are, without judgment, treating every person with dignity and respect, and reminding those we serve that they do not have to walk through life alone. Through the generosity of our volunteers, donors, partners, and community, we strive not only to help meet the immediate need for food, but also to offer encouragement, prayer, and genuine care to those experiencing difficult seasons in life. Inspired by the lives and legacies of our brothers Rick Prevost, Rodger Loar, and our son Greyson Del Rae, we seek to turn compassion into action, faith into service, and loss into a lasting legacy of love for our community.

Our Vision

To build a community where no one faces hunger alone, every individual is treated with compassion, dignity, and respect, and neighbors come together to care for one another. Guided by faith and a heart for service, we envision a future where everyone, regardless of background, beliefs, or circumstances, has access to the nourishment, support, and hope they need to thrive.                                            "Life is a journey; you don't have to walk alone"

What guides us

Our core values

Faith

As a Christ-centered pantry, we strive to reflect God’s love through service, prayer, compassion, and genuine care for every person in our community.

Compassion

We serve every individual with kindness, dignity, and respect—meeting people where they are, without judgment.

Dignity

We believe every person deserves to be treated with respect and dignity. We serve everyone with compassion, honoring their worth and providing assistance in a respectful and caring manner.

Hope

Beyond providing food, we strive to uplift spirits by offering encouragement, prayer, and a reminder that no one has to walk through life alone.

Service

We believe we are stronger when we serve together. Just as Jesus had his disciples, we are surrounded by volunteers, partners, and supporters who share in our mission to serve those in need and make a lasting impact in our community.

Our foundation

In Loving Memory

R & R Community Pantry Co. was established in loving memory of Rick Prevost, Rodger Loar, and Greyson Del Rae. Their lives continue to inspire our commitment to faith, compassion, dignity, hope, and service.

Rick Prevost March 29, 1982 to March 9, 2025

Rick’s life was not always easy. He experienced homelessness, struggled with substance abuse, and spent time in both jail and prison. His journey included difficult choices, hardships, and seasons when he needed help and a second chance. His life reminds us that behind every struggle is a person with a story, a person who still deserves compassion, dignity, and love. Too often, those experiencing homelessness, addiction, incarceration, or other hardships are judged by their circumstances and forgotten by the world. Rick’s story calls us to look beyond a person’s past and show the same compassion and mercy that Jesus showed to those who were struggling, hurting, and overlooked.

Rodger Loar July 27, 1972 to December 1, 2025

Rodger was a devoted pastor and a man of faith who dedicated his life to serving God, sharing the Gospel, and helping others grow in their relationship with Christ. He was the person who led us to Jesus, forever changing the direction of our lives and planting a foundation of faith that continues to guide us today. His life reminds us through both his words and his example that faith is more than something we believe, it is something we live. He showed us the importance of loving others, giving generously, serving those in need, and being willing to extend a helping hand when someone is struggling. Even a simple act of kindness can make a lasting difference in someone’s journey.

Greyson Del Rae September 4, 2011 to March 19, 2026

Greyson was a sweet, caring, and kind young man with a gentle heart. He was a friend to all and had a way of making people feel welcomed and accepted. His kindness was genuine, and the love he showed others reminds us how much of a difference one person can make simply by caring. Although his life was far too short, the impact he made will remain with us forever. His life reminds us that by serving others, we hope to carry forward the kindness and compassion that came so naturally to him. Every family we help and every person we remind that they are not alone gives us an opportunity to honor Greyson and allow his beautiful spirit of kindness to continue touching lives.
"The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor."

— Proverbs 22:9

Randall Loar
Co-founder / Executive Director
My brother Rodger led me to Christ and baptized me in 2018, a moment that continues to guide my life and desire to serve others. Between March 2025 and March 2026, my family experienced tremendous loss with the deaths of my brother-in-law Rick, brother Rodger, and son Greyson. I started the pantry in their loving memory, inspired by the love they shared and the impact they had on my life. Through serving others, I hope to bring comfort and encouragement to those facing difficult times and remind them that life is a journey; and no one has to walk alone.
